Career Ministry ---Professionals working together seeking God’s guidance in “what we do” for we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. (NIV Ephesians 2:10) Children’s Ministry ---A ministry committed to training up our children to know, follow, worship, and love Christ. Christian Education Ministry --- Provide educational opportunities through studies, material, forums and seminar to develop a persons understanding of God, His Word and him or herself. Includes: Bible Study and New Member Orientation and Training. Health & Wellness Ministry ---Equipping your whole self through spiritual well being as it pertains to your relationship with God. Hospitality --- A visit to Union will be the best witness of this ministry of peace. Greeters with friendly smiles will welcome and guide you into our worship service and community. Media Ministry ---Spreading the Word of God through multimedia outlets. Membership ---Membership at Union means you will be connected to a community of faith that loves you, believes in you, and affirms through our love for God that you matter to us. Membership orientation is every forth Saturday following the service. This ministry places new members into ministries based on their spiritual gifts assessment and placement program. In addition, this ministry is the support mechanism for members through direct helping or referring the member to the ministry that will best meet their needs. We work to move them from members to ministers. Men’s Ministry --- We provide a support group for the men of the church. The mission of this ministry is to help each man become a better servant of GOD and a better person in general. Each man should strive to excel while performing his duties in his home, in the church, at work and in the community. Music Ministry ---We worship God in Spirit and in Truth. The praise team and sacred dancers lead in order to establish a worship atmosphere that is alive, full of the spirit, non traditional, and shared by everyone present. Outreach ---We are building people and building community. This ministry seeks to serve in areas of education, community development, and other pertinent community issues and concerns. Pastoral Care and Counseling ---You Matter and We care at Union. If you are sick, in trouble, or happy, we will pray for you and sing songs of praise with you (James 5:13). Prayer Ministry --- We pray for needs and concerns for the membership. We pray weekly for the issues and ill that plague our society. We have prayer concern cards available for people to fill out weekly during service as well as prayer request that can be made on the website. Resource Ministry ---We recognize that some needs and concerns of people face we may not have the capacity to address. We know our limitation. Therefore, we have established a referral system that connects people in need to the right resource so that they can be helped and restored. Women’s Ministry --Knowing God’s role for you in the church, community and world.
